Entering the supply chain of Mitsubishi Electric, AquiSense provides customized UVC LED water treatm

2020-11-19

Recently, AquiSense Technologies, a developer of UVC LED water treatment technology in the United States, announced a cooperation with Mitsubishi Electric (MELCO) to launch a unique version of the PearlAqua Micro product specifically designed for Mitsubishi Electric. Mitsubishi Electric's domestic hot water system Eco Cute will use AquiSense's proprietary UVC LED water treatment technology.

It is reported that Mitsubishi Electric has spent more than two years evaluating UVC LED technology solutions from more than a dozen suppliers, with the aim of selecting UVC LED products with low energy consumption, long life and small size for its carbon dioxide heat pump hot water supply system.

In the end, AquiSense was selected as a long-term supplier of Mitsubishi Electric with its outstanding product performance, mass production capacity and competitive pricing capabilities.

This new UVC LED product is based on the PearlAqua Micro platform and can provide a high level of microbial disinfection barrier during hot water recycling. Different from other products on the market (pathogens will remain during the entire water cycle), AquiSense's customized UVC LED disinfection products can act as a barrier to prevent pollution from subsequent water cycles.

AquiSense stated that the supply contract signed with Mitsubishi Electric this time is the largest UVC LED contract so far, and it is likely to be larger than the sum of all previous contracts, which means that AquiSense's UVC LED technology has a huge application in the residential market and has now entered Production processes.

According to data, PearlAqua Micro UVC LED water treatment system has a sterilization rate of 99.9999%, and the current monthly output has exceeded 10,000 units. Moreover, this series of products has passed NSF certification. According to the design, the product is integrated when in use, provides 12 or 24 VDC input voltage, can realize automatic switch control, has a variety of sensing and warning options, and provides customized shell solutions.
