According to the news, this order comes from BBL Construction, a general contractor in the commercial construction field. The two parties will make full use of their respective fields of expertise to jointly cooperate on multiple vertical farm projects.
The cross-border cooperation between Heliospectra and BBL Construction shows that, at present, LED grow lights and vertical farm facilities have become functional products integrated into the fields of horticultural lighting and commercial construction, further highlighting the development trend of urban agriculture and indoor farms.
At present, due to food security issues caused by the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, in countries and regions that are highly dependent on imported food, increasing urban agriculture and indoor cultivation facilities has become one of the priority development projects. Equipping commercial buildings with LED growth lights and intelligent cultivation systems will help urban agriculture increase local food production. (Compiled by LEDinside Janice)
